Coach Allmon is the proud founder and coach of Super Speed Runners. With a passion for helping young athletes unlock full potential, Coach Allmon brings years of experience both in the classroom and on the track.
A proud ASU Sun Devil, Coach Allmon holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and has spent the past 5 years in the classroom. She has been a first grade teacher the last 3 years and finds joy helping her little learners grow into strong and confident leaders. Alongside a career in education, Coach Allmon has coached middle school track and field for the last 3 years — and continues to inspire student-athletes today. Prior to launching Super Speed Runners, Coach Allmon also coached with a youth running club for two years and led small group HITT workouts for college students.
As a competitive runner for over seven years, Coach Allmon experienced firsthand the power of teamwork, goal setting, and resilience — highlighted by earning 4th place at the State Championships with her high school 4x400 relay team.
Through Super Speed Runners, Coach Allmon combines a love for running, teaching, and youth development to create a fun, motivating environment where kids age 4-14 can discover their speed, build confidence, and reach their goals. Every runner has a super speed inside them —and Coach Allmon is excited to help them find it!
The inspiration behind Super Speed Runners started with a determined 6 year old who loved nothing more than racing down the track. She proudly called herself “Vanessa Super Speed Reed”, and her passion for running sparked a lifelong love for the sport. Today, the same spirit drives Super Speed Runners — a club built to inspire the next generation of young athletes to run with heart, chase big dreams, and have fun doing it.
